Class of 2012 - Part I

Friday, June 8, 2012

I have to say that photographing high school seniors has been a lot of fun for me!  There is something absolutely wonderful about their youthfulness, sense of optimism and naivete that is refreshing.
It's that newness of life. New beginnings.  Cliched, I know, but it's true.
Do you remember being on the brink of high school graduation?  That sense of knowing that life, as you know it, will never be the same...but in a good way.  Sure, you're bound to have feelings of uncertainty and anxiety but as the saying goes, it only gets better!  I promise.

If I could go back and give some advice to my 17 year old self, it would be the following:
Keep learning. Notice kindness. Count your blessings.
Pursue your passions.
Turn your potential into actual.
Love. Love some more.

THANK YOU...
Cam, Colby, Kim, Lini, Norelle, Chris,
Sisi, Tala, Kayleen, Ata, Paige, and Puna...
for letting me capture you at this stage in your life.
I can't wait to see all of the amazing things each of you will do.
There are so many people who want nothing but the best for you.
Make us proud:)
